Verge Labs is recruiting for an Executive Assistant to support its CEO and executive office by taking ownership of day-to-day administrative, logistical, and operational work that would otherwise consume executive attention. This is more than a scheduling role: the EA is expected to understand priorities, anticipate needs, connect the dots, exercise sound judgment, and independently drive work to completion.
YOUR MISSION
Reporting to Verge's VP Operations, the Executive Assistant role aims to absorb administrative, logistical, and operational work in order to allow Verge's CEO to spend the maximum amount of time possible working on high leverage things that only they are able to do.
YOU WILL OWN
- Scheduling and calendar management,
- Daily/meeting prep: prepare and surface pre-reads, agendas, briefings, etc. to the CEO in good time for them to absorb and generate maximum impact from each block of time on their calendar,
- Domestic and international business travel,
- Inbox management (media requests, shareholder queries, etc.),
- Light board management (scheduling board meetings, assembling & circulating packets, post-meeting action items),
- Personal support (all desk based and routine: prescription refills, infrequent personal travel, occasional ad hoc tasks),
- Broader operations tasks (all hands slides, contract + CRM management, etc.) as workload and performance allow.
REQUIREMENTS
All applicants must…
- …have ≥5 years of succeeding in an Executive Assistant role supporting c-suite, founder(s), or similarly senior executives in highly dynamic environments,
- …be based in, and authorized to work in, the United States, and either on Pacific time or willing to adjust their timezone to overlap with Pacific time,
- …have experience with, and enthusiasm for, remote working (with a willingness to travel to, and participate in, annual company offsites),
- …have strong IT skills, including both comfort with standard packages (Google Sheets, modern CRM(s), etc.) and power use of AI (ChatGPT, Claude) to create outsized impact in the role.
