- Lead HR operations for India across compliance, payroll, benefits, audits, and employee lifecycle processes, ensuring reliable and scalable execution.
- Build and run compliant, efficient processes for labor law requirements, statutory documentation, filings coordination, and operational readiness.
- Oversee payroll inputs, benefits administration, and related vendor partnerships to deliver accuracy, timeliness, and a strong employee experience.
- Strengthen audit readiness and controls through clear documentation, process governance, follow-through, and continuous improvement.
- Create and improve SOPs, process maps, trackers, calendars, and ownership models that bring consistency and scale to India HR operations.
- Partner closely with HRBPs, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and external vendors to solve issues and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
- Identify process gaps and lead improvements that reduce manual work, mitigate risk, and improve operational quality as the organization grows.
- Support implementation of policy, labor code, entity, and people process changes in India.
- Help shape the long-term India HR operations operating model and define how work should scale over time.
- You bring 5–7 years of experience in India HR operations, people operations, HR shared services environment.
- You have strong hands-on experience in labor compliance, payroll coordination, audits, and benefits administration.
- You have built or tightened HR processes in a scaling company environment and know how to create structure without adding unnecessary complexity.
- You have strong ownership, attention to detail, and judgment when handling sensitive employee and compliance matters.
- You are effective at vendor and stakeholder management across cross-functional partners.
- You can move comfortably between strategic process design and hands-on execution.
- You have experience working with HR systems and operational data controls.
- Startup or high-growth company experience in a global setup is preferred
- This role is hybrid (3 days a week in our Bangalore office)
