WHAT DOES AN AI NATIVE LEAD ARCHITECT DO AT PALO IT?
Within PALO IT, you will use cutting-edge AI tools to accelerate development cycles and drive innovation. As a key team member, you will lead high-impact, AI-driven engineering initiatives from discovery through delivery. You will be responsible for technical excellence, team skills development, and client success, ensuring every project is aligned with the Gen-e² speed-to-impact model.
Technical leadership & architecture
- Define service scopes and reference architectures, aligned with SLOs, security policies, and cost-optimization goals.
- Drive engineering context (functional and technical) within the product repository, ensuring transparency and quality through automated PR templates and adherence to documentation standards.
- Conduct risk and threat analyses, balancing performance, privacy, sustainability, and security.
- Design and implement guardrails in CI/CD pipelines (e.g. anonymization of sensitive data, license verification, compliance gates) to guarantee enterprise-grade quality.
- Continuously improve key metrics related to energy efficiency, cloud costs, and system accessibility.
Collaborative engagement
- Facilitate collaboration with technical sponsors and product teams as a go-to technical expert.
- Take part in pitch phases, proofs of concept, and the development of the ecosystem and its artifacts.
Coaching & change facilitation
- Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement across the organization while ensuring delivery of technical development.
- Take part in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and improvement suggestions.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and assess their potential impact on business operations and team performance.
WHAT PROFILE ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN THIS ROLE?

- You're an experienced software architect and Tech Lead, recognized for your ability to embed AI-First methods into robust, scalable technical solutions.
- You have at least 10 years of experience in software architecture and development (Java, .NET, Python, React, Angular...) and AI, with a strong technical appetite and the ability to be hands-on.
- You have strong expertise in designing and scaling cloud-native applications or AI-First architectures.
- You have deep command of CI/CD processes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization technologies, and DevSecOps practices.
- You're familiar with UX-as-Code approaches and design-system thinking.
- You know how to support and mentor diverse teams in developing and implementing technical solutions.
- You're fluent in English with excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You understand prompt engineering principles for optimal interaction with AI tools.
- You have strong knowledge of and curiosity about AI/ML technologies, including OpenAI API, LangChain, Hugging Face, and context engineering.
