We are your first backer. The companies we partner with range from pre-product and pre-revenue to post-launch. What matters most to us is the founder and the scale of their ambition, not the stage of the business. From the moment you have an idea through to early revenue, we'd love to hear from you. If you have already raised more than a couple of million dollars, we're probably not the right fit at that point. We believe fast-growing companies can be born anywhere in the world. However, we tend to focus on investing in companies based in Europe and Israel, or companies with a distinctively European angle. We are sector agnostic in our approach.

What Seedcamp funds

Europe's original first-cheque investor, backing founders from idea through early revenue across Europe and Israel. Sector agnostic, leads or co-leads rounds and builds a syndicate of angels and funds around the company rather than running a fixed-terms cohort programme.

Details

Seedcamp no longer runs the fixed-terms batch accelerator it was known for in the early 2010s. It now invests as a pre-seed fund with a rolling process: an initial call, optional follow-ups, then a 45-minute partner pitch, targeted end-to-end within two weeks. The cheque is stated in US dollars on Seedcamp's own FAQ, not euros. Seedcamp uses documents based on the standard Seedsummit terms and is comfortable with either a convertible or an equity structure, so no single equity percentage is published and equityPct is null rather than zero.
