We look for passionate, 100% committed entrepreneurs of any age and experience level with disruptive ideas who are willing and able to take the risk of turning their ideas into reality. We have a strong preference for fully formed teams of "builders," with the skills and capabilities to build a product and take it to market. We accept applications from companies at various stages, some will have just a new idea on a napkin while others will have a company that is already generating revenue and looking to accelerate its growth. Enterprise and B2B startups typically can be earlier stage while consumer product companies would require more proof of product-market fit. We accept applications from all over the world. There is no requirement to relocate for the MuckerLab program. We select companies and entrepreneurs from an open application process, reviewing applicants on a quarterly basis.

MuckerLab takes no more than 20 to 25 companies a year and deliberately rejects the batch model: there is no three-month bootcamp, no demo day and no set start date. Mucker starts when the founders are ready and ends when the company has hit mutually agreed business, customer and financing milestones, which averages roughly 12 months and ranges from 3 to 24. termMonths records the stated average. The published deal is a range, $100,000 to $175,000 for 10% to 15%, set by capital needs and the state of the business; equityPct records the top of that range so the figure never understates dilution. Applications are open to companies worldwide with no requirement to relocate, and are reviewed quarterly. Companies that already have funding can apply: the average participant is raising $250,000 to $500,000 before or during the programme, some as much as $1M. Mucker states 97% of MuckerLab companies have raised further outside capital and gives its network as 200+ operating experts.
