“IndiaAI Compute democratizes access to AI compute resources on the cloud by offering powerful GPUs at significantly lower costs. Indicative on-demand pricing as per 13th March 2026: NVIDIA A100 80GB (1X) ₹135.9/hour, A100 80GB (8X) ₹1087.2/hour. IndiaAI subsidizes approved projects, but users must bear additional costs beyond the subsidy.”

India's national AI mission, run as an independent business division under MeitY. Its compute pillar puts empanelled GPU capacity on a government portal at subsidised hourly rates for Indian researchers, students, startups and MSMEs building AI tools, technologies and foundation models.
