Before you applyAn existing idea or product, and a fit with one of Hexa's published verticals.

We look for founding teams at the pre-seed stage - we want to be one of their first investment checks, if not the first. The project must also align with one of our vertical themes. Hexa Sprint is for founding teams who already have an idea and are looking for their first check, typically at the pre-seed stage.

What Hexa funds

The Paris studio formerly called eFounders, behind Front, Aircall and Spendesk. It is the rare studio that publishes its whole deal: Hexa Start hands you an idea, a co-founder and 700,000 euros for a third of the company, and Hexa Sprint writes a 500,000 euro first cheque to teams that already have one.

Details

The money comes as a 20,000 euro convertible note for 4% of the company plus a 480,000 euro convertible note with MFN provisions and an 8M euro cap. Hexa's own worked example: if your first round after Sprint prices above 8M euros, the 500,000 euros ends up buying about 10%. You join a sector vertical led by a dedicated partner alongside a cohort building in the same space. Verticals published at the time of reading include AI for work and energy resilience. Unlike Hexa Start, the idea and the team are yours.
