What fal funds

fal runs generative media inference (image, video, audio) and gives away credits on its own model library to seed the apps built on it. Three programs split by who you are: indie builders in Europe and Asia get a small credit pack through a partner referral, teams with traction or venture backing get a larger one that scales with spend, and open source AI researchers get compute by emailing the grants team.

Details

Every approved team starts at the $1,000 Startup pack. Crossing $1,000/mo in fal spend unlocks the $2,500 Scale pack and $2,500/mo unlocks the $5,000 Growth pack, added on request rather than by re-application. Qualifying needs either a proven track record (real users, meaningful traction or revenue) or an institutional VC round, not both. A short intro call is usually part of approval. Partner-referred applications are prioritised but a referral is not required.
