Startups at any stage are eligible. We also consider students and one-off projects on a case-by-case basis. We review applications on a rolling basis and aim to respond within a week.

What Cartesia funds
Cartesia builds real-time voice models, and its startups grant is one of the few with no stage gate at all: any stage qualifies, and students and one-off projects are considered case by case. What it asks for instead is your logo and a social post.

The grant covers the full stack: Sonic text-to-speech, Ink speech-to-text and Managed Agents. Scale tier brings 2x rollover and high concurrency limits. Overage past 8M characters a month is billed pay as you go, and past 50M characters a month you qualify for an enterprise plan. When the 12 months end the account moves to the $299 a month Scale plan, or you can drop to a lower tier or cancel. Approval arrives as a coupon code applied to your account.
