The AI startup program was designed to support early stage AI-first and VC funded startups. AI-first startup: in order to qualify for the AI startup program, artificial intelligence needs to be core to your primary products or solutions. Funding requirement: we will only accept early stage startups. To qualify, your funding stage should be Seed to Series A and you started less than 5 years ago. Other requirements: only net new customers can be enrolled into the AI startup program. It means that you have never received any credits from Baseten before.

What Baseten funds

Baseten runs model inference and training infrastructure, and gives its largest credit package to seed and Series A startups where AI is the core product. The gate is explicit: VC funded, under five years old, and never a Baseten credit recipient before.

Members get support response within a few business hours, growing to a shared Slack channel and calls, plus invitations to Baseten events and go-to-market help around launches and funding announcements.
